Venture in Action – Where Practice and Theory meet

“Migros, Roche, Nestlé – it all started with an idea” says Sebastien Jeanneret, Entrepreneur and Professor at the School of Management (HEG) Fribourg in front of the media. With Rico Baldegger, Director of the School of Management Fribourg and Edgar Jeitziner, Managing-Director of the Banque Cantonale de Fribourg (BCF) they presented a new and so far not existing course: Venture in Action.

In teams up six students, the “Studentpreneurs”  create their very own start-up. Seed capital is provided by the BCF, HEG’s official Partner for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.: 1’000 Swiss Francs per student. The projects were presented at the BCF’s Safe Gallery.

Empreinte Ethno: Modern occidental fashion with African tissues

MixMe: Push-caps filled with syrup tastes (green-apple, peach, raspberry) to mix with tap water


PicYours: Online platform that offers original pictures taken by unknown “Artists” on different supports (poster, canvas) in different dimensions


Traum Acoustik: Organizing parties to promote Minimal, Deep-House and Tech-House in Western Switzerland

Traum Acoustik Platform connecting all kind of artists with establishments (restaurants, bars etc.) looking for them


Swider: Local production and sale of alcoholic Swiss cider


You like We paint: Transforms your picture into a painting



From now on, the different teams will write a monthly blog article and talk about their team, accomplishments, milestones and many more… Stay tuned!
